Swing Life Away

Blogging this week in my absence is my beautiful, creative and whitty daughter Ashely ... I hope you find the apple didn't fall far from the tree!  Enjoy the post, and I'll be back next week when I return from my annual missions trip!

The front porch is my sanctuary. It's where I catch my breath, catch up with friends, and catch some Z's on my porch swing.  I truly believe that your outdoor seating spaces should be treated as an extension of your home.

Outdoor fabric and furniture has come an incredibly long way since the plastic furniture and vinyl cushions of our childhoods.... You can be so creative with colors, textures, and even different finishes.

Fabrics are now not only durable, but also pleasing to the eye and touch.

Check out these wild patterns!!!

What's even better, is what you can put the fabrics on!

Cute Swivel Rocking chair from Pavilion Furniture's Eos Collection.

An adorable rustic Bar stool from Pavilion's Portico Safari Collection

This overstuffed Lounge Chair is to die for. From Pavilion's Horizon's Collection.

And last but not least, this breathtaking lounger with a traversing canopy!!

Willing Spring

Friday we had 18" of wet heavy snow.
Saturday & Sunday it was in the mid 50's sunny and simply beautiful.
Monday was an acceptable day over all.
Yesterday the rain and wind hammered at my windows.
Today, I awoke to an icy walk and a balmy 31 degrees.
As it goes March in New England.

I believe in Vision Boards, which are based on the law of attraction. They illustrate your goal by literally surrounding you with the images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation, and thus, your life changes to match those images and those desires. These boards were made wildly popular when the book the Secret was released, if you create it and see it you will it to happen!

So I'm willing Spring..... and what better way to help the warm weather along then to envision living outdoors! I've created a Pinterest board entitled exactly that, where I dream of lush green lawns, entertaining family and friends, and warm breezes... Living Outdoors.

Today let's explore dressing your patio, deck, or back yard for the warm weather! Here's a few of my favorites!
